Dia de los Muertos - Manolo & Maria [x]

I just had an image in my mind of Maria and Manolo at his family’s altar on the Day of the Dead, celebrating their loved ones and Maria painting sugar skull markings on his face, similar to the ones he had on his skull in the Land of the Remembered. 
I apologize for the crap lazy background. I’m not great with blending and stuff but I needed the practice. ^^’

I just wanted a sweet moment between the two newlyweds. It’s hard finding fanart of them so I thought I’d contribute. 

This is amazing! It was wonderful watching the progression of this ambitious piece of fan art. Loving the colors especially.
